This is a great party, Carmen McRae and Betty Carter are singing, “Stolen Moments” and Mike Tyson is one of the guests. He has a magnificent tribal tattoo on the right side of his face and this symbol and I are flirting with one another. We are having a great seductive conversation, I am completely enthralled, and accompanying the tattoo around the party.
At a point I tell my tattoo admirer that I’m concerned Mike might notice me hanging around and mistakenly believe that it is he who has captured my interest. That would be awkward.
Tattoo and I continue with our infatuation until I realize that the relationship has no future. I remind tattoo that it already has a relationship with, and permanent attachment to, Mike.
