Saving My Soul

Probably one of the most handsome men I have ever seen, he is wearing a beautiful green paisley necktie and is waiting for the bus. Abruptly and bluntly, he announces that I am an investment banker. I correct him and say that I am a musician. His rather wordy opinion is that there is no difference between an investment banker and a musician, and he states this with an attitude of absolute confidence.

Finally, he proposes that if I get on the bus and accompany him, he will show me how to invest my time, talent and treasure in myself and create wealth for everyone around me. I, jokingly, ask him if I will have to sell my soul to the devil and he replies by saying in all seriousness that if I am not living out my destiny then I have already sold my soul.
